Durtle Turtle Durtle
I told Adam and Lien about my creation when I got to Hawai’i, how I would eat the mangoes and make it with sticky rice. Not just any shape…but a turtle shape!! It was an idea i got from the last time I cubed my mango. Unfortunately, my dad gave me a mango that wasn’t fully riped..hahahaha so I couldn’t flip it and use it as a shell :[ So, I had to experiment with other ways. We made this last year but used a different method. We don’t have that “hat” thing (as lien would call it) here so we used a rice cooker, which works just the same..kinda. I wonder how the thai’s make theirs?? I got a help from my mom giving me advice and help from my sister who just dumped a bunch of sugar onto my rice hehe. It was a fun activity..and guess what?? IT TURNED OUT GREAT! :]
Sister’s rating: 8/10 She was definitely satisfied “So good, i’m so happyyy”
