Hi! I’m Justina Ann Lau. I graduated with a BS. in Nutritional Science Concentration in Dietetics in May 2012. I’m an employee of a meat distributor, a daughter of a food-experimenter, a sister who shares the same fascination and love for everything about food, and a girl who just loves, absolutely loves taking pictures.
As a student, I was the historian and dancer of Pride of Pacific Islands, a Polynesian club devoted to spreading aloha and diversity across campus. I was also a member of Nutrition Education Action Team (NEAT) which focuses on educating the student body on various nutritional topics such as fad diets and basic nutrition. My specialty was in sports nutrition and global nutrition. I was also a leadership delegate.
Furthermore, I interned at Mission Peak Fitness and has been part of the start-up of the nutrition program. Presentations and some posters were developed by me. I have also been working at a meat wholesale. Lastly, I tutored high school, middle school, and elementary school students as well as volunteered for CAFF and Cooking Matters.
I have a passion to educate and be educated. Talking a lot and telling stories is part of my nature. Food is my life (figuratively and literally) If you’re like me, then this is journal is for you! :] I find fascination in food, and always wonder how food came to be or how to make something. I’m curious by nature so this blog is mainly to share and jot down my wonders.
I hope my food-eating-crunching-munching-licking-slobbering-slurping-smacking-foot-stomping adventures make you salivate (and do all of the above). A girl can dream, right? haha.
PS. There won’t be any reviews of restaurants here. Everything but that. Check out the yelp Reviews for it :]
Have fun, and once again, thank you for visiting!!
