Vietnamese Coffee
The French had a lot to do with this awesome coffee. It is usually dripped through a French drip filter which can easily be put on a small coffee cup. I always wondered what makes Vietnamese coffee so much stronger than other coffee (in my opinion). It never fails to keep me up in the wee hours of the night. If my research does me justice, most Vietnamese coffee uses Robusta beans that has about 50% more caffeine. It is a dark roast. The way they brew their coffee through the drip has some influence on its strength.
The Vietnamese coffee is usually iced with condensed milk, which to me is better for my liking. Vietnam is one of the top importers of coffee beans after Brazil. Its climate has made it the perfect place to grow coffee, and its unique coffee is one for any coffee lovers to try. Of all coffee, Vietnamese coffee is my favorite. I can’t wait to go back to Vietnam.

Read Labels…

I learn a lot from the experiences I participate in. One of the presentations I did at my internship was sugar-sweetened beverages. I took out a nutrition label of Sunny D:

Source

People often think Sunny D is a juice, and I don’t blame them. It often is marketed as a juice and looks like one too. At first, I was only examining the nutrition facts and then I looked at the label. The first two ingredients are water and corn syrup. Corn syrup, as you probably know, is basically sugar. There’s also oil in this drink. Why are you drinking oil? Furthermore, there’s a bunch of additives and artificial sweeteners. I’m not a fan of artificial stuff, so this drink is pretty disgusting to me. This drink doesn’t even interest me to get my “nutrients.” Eat a real food…you’re not putting junk in your body
